Quicken 2004 has been tested and will install and run on Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems (32- or 64-bit for Quicken 2004) through the conversion process. It has not been tested with Windows 10.
Will Quicken 2002 run on Windows 10?
Since Quicken 2002 runs on Windows 8.1, I would expect it to run on Windows 10. When Windows 10 is launched, you will be able to run a compatibility checker that will check your hardware and software. If you want, you can try running the current upgrade assistant for Windows 8.1.

I have recently successfully reinstalled Quicken XG 2004 on a new Windows 10 PC (64bit). I used the original installation CD and let it default the directory. The program installs into the C:/Program files (x86)/Quicken directory.

Mine seems to be pausing sometimes… Quicken 2004 still works a treat in Windows 10. Such a shame we have to rely on such old software but there is nothing in the market today that remotely compares to Quicken. I could not survive without it.

There seems to be an unanswered need for this in the UK, but I don’t think you will see a version for outside the US/Canada anytime soon. The focus appears to be online access and the EU market, while large, is too diverse banking wise. If your concern is migrating to Win10, there are various settings to hopefully make it operational.

Just got a new PC with Windows 10, ran set up from the original Quicken 2004 disc, added the files you listed (I had them on my old PC from an earlier Windows 7 installation) Quicker up and running within 15 mins. Good to here people still using the excellent Quicken software. Can not live without it…
