Using ReFILE
- Make the necessary changes to your return in Wealthsimple Tax.
- In the Submit section click the ReFILE button to review your changes and submit your amended return.
- If your return goes through successfully, you’ll see a new confirmation number, and message from the CRA.
Why won’t CRA accept my NETFILE?
Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has some restrictions regarding who can use the NETFILE service. You went bankrupt during the tax year or the year before (that doesn’t include a proposal for bankruptcy) You weren’t a resident of Canada during the tax year.
Can you use NETFILE if it is your first tax return?

Can I ReFILE my taxes if I made a mistake Canada?
The Canada Revenue Agency will only accept one return per tax year. Once you’ve filed your return (mistakes and all), you can’t file a new one. But you can correct the original by way of an adjustment. You must wait until you have received your Notice of Assessment before submitting any adjustment requests.
