Does snap money expire?

What makes a non-citizen eligible for snap?
Generally, a non-citizen must be a qualified alien (as defined in PRWORA) in order to be eligible for SNAP. Non-citizens like tourists and students are generally not eligible. Individuals who are eligible based on their immigration status must also satisfy other SNAP eligibility requirements such as income and resource limits.

Is there a limit to how long you can receive SNAP benefits?
Benefits are provided starting the day your application is submitted, so once you are approved, you will received the total amount you would have received from day one. As long as you continue to meet the eligibility requirements for SNAP, there is no limit to how long you can receive benefits.
